Little Grace’s dismembered remains were found by hunters in a remote Pennsylvania forest– but for months before that, she had reportedly been stuffed in an attic packed with cat litter in an upstate Pennsylvania home.
What the child allegedly endured before her murder is unbearable to even listen to. According to police, Grace’s adoptive mother, once an employee of the state’s child welfare branch, and her “boyfriend,” pick the sleepy child up in her pajamas.
The two then get her into a different home, strike her repeatedly about the face busting the child’s lip open, and proceed to carry out their twisted rape-fantasy on the little girl. After assaulting the child, they reportedly leave the home to get Tylenol PM and other drugs to sedate the child after the assaults. After binding and gagging her, the two leave her to die in the hot cedar closet.
They then go merrily on their way.
The despicable two then reportedly return to the home to find, to their surprise, that little Grace has managed to survive, still bound and gagged in the souring temperatures in the attic. It is then, instead of showing even a shred of remorse or sympathy, they allegedly strangle and asphyxiate the child to her death.
One of the most horrifying stories I've read. Grace Packer was robbed of the love every child is born deserving. https://t.co/uLICfG8hTT

Then comes the cover-up. The child is reported missing and a massive search ensues, with the two standing by, saying nothing.
In fact, police now allege that, instead of directing police to the child’s body, they kept her hidden in a closet with cat litter to avoid the stench of decomposing flesh. Then, after police visited the home in October, they dismembered the little girl’s body in a bathtub and tossed her remains in a forest. Any psychologist worth their salt will have a field day with that, at the inevitable murder trial to come.
TIMELINE OF GRACE’S MURDER AS WE KNOW IT: HOW MANY TIMES COULD MOMMY HAVE SAVED HER?
Read the timeline below and count the times her own adoptive mom could have saved the child’s life.
Fall 2015: Grace’s adoptive mother, Sara Packer, and her lover, Jacob Sullivan, reportedly hatch a scheme to murder little Grace as part of a rape-fantasy. Their sick plan is to initiate their murder plot when Grace returns from visting relatives in North Carolina.
July 4, 2016: Grace is last seen alive for the last time. She was attending a family get-together and picnic.
July 8, 2016: Mother and lover allegedly take Grace to a new home in Quakertown. Mother Packer stands by as BF Sullivan rapes her. They give the child sedatives, bind and gag her, leaving her to die in a closet.
July 9, 2016: A day later, Packer and Sullivan return to the home to find Grace miraculously alive. Police say Sullivan strangles and asphyxiates her dead. Packer stands by and does nothing.
July 11, 2016: Sarah Packer reports her daughter missing.
September 2016: Based on information given to them by Grace’s mother, Sarah Packer, police wrongly describe Grace as a “runaway.” Police publicly ask for help to find her and the case goes viral.
October 2016: Police return to follow-up on Grace’s disappearance. Packer and Sullivan, having hidden Grace’s dead body in cat litter, dismember her and leaving her remains in dense woods, Luzerne Count.
Oct. 31, 2016: Hunters discover Grace’s remains.
Nov. 8, 2016: Remains are positively identified as Grace.
Nov. 12, 2016: Packer lands in Montgomery County. Formal charges: Endangering the welfare of a child, obstructing the law.
Dec. 22, 2016: Prosecutors rule Grace’s death a homicide, ask the public for help. Packer considered a POI, person of interest.
Dec. 23, 2016: Amazingly, Packer is granted bail and walks free.
Dec. 30, 2016: Packer and Sullivan enter a “suicide pact” after police ask for help with Grace’s case. It doesn’t work.
January 2017: Sullivan reportedly admits to he was responsible for Grace’s death.
Jan. 8, 2017: Sullivan and Packer are charged with murder.
A careful review of the alleged facts shows the state does not need Packer’s testimony to convict the boyfriend, Sullivan. At every turn, her own adoptive mom turned devil’s handmaid. Why cut a deal with her?
