Alpharetta, Georgia, police confirmed that missing teen, Brooklyn Smith, subject of the latest nationwide AMBER Alert, is with a man who’s been charged with numerous sexual abuse offenses.
Alpharetta Department of Public Safety issued a warrant for Steven Spires, 32, who arrested last year for incest, child molestation, statutory rape, sexual battery, sodomy and incest. According to authorities, Spires is violating a court order by having contact with his daughter, Brooklyn, 13.
Brooklyn and her friend, Desire Hall, 16, disappeared from the Main Event Entertainment bowling alley in Alpharetta, on January 14. Both girls were in the care of the Georgia Department of Family and Children’s Services (DEFACS) when they vanished. Hall was later found in the parking lot of a hotel.

Police state that it’s likely both Spires and his daughter altered their appearance to evade capture. According to the Alpharetta Public Safety’s Facebook page, the pair were spotted in Warner Robbins, Georgia. They were traveling in a black 2001 Ford Taurus, with license plate number, CAY7195.
Brooklyn stands four-foot-eleven inches and weighs around 100 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes. Spires stands around five-foot-seven inches, weighs roughly 150 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes.
In July 2016, Brooklyn was the center of a national AMBER Alert when she ran away with her dad. She was located shortly after, and Spires was charged with numerous sex offenses.
