Minaj mansion thievery and trashing

Sometime between November 24, 2016, and January 2017, the Los Angeles mansion of Nicki Minaj was robbed and ransacked. Fortunately, the rapper was out of town at the time of the incident and there is no indication that anyone was personally harmed, but an estimated $175,000 – 200,000 in property was taken.

As if adding insult to injury, the swanky home was “totally trashed” with belongings destroyed and disrupted.  A great deal of jewelry was stolen and numerous personal items, like picture frames, perfume bottles, and wardrobe items were destroyed.   The rapper’s “team” reported the crime to police and their report noted there were “clear signs of forced entry in spots around the house.”

Due to the nature of the damaged items, it has been suggested that the break-in was “personal.”  Thieves stole and destroyed personal items that would be considered significant to the singer, signaling their desire to send a personal message of invasion and harm. The manner in which furniture and such was destroyed would indicate that the thieves were looking for something and leaving a path of destruction in their path.

Police are investigating whether surveillance video exists of the 11,500-square-foot home. No suspects have been identified. With celebrity and notoriety, it is hoped that the opulent premises were well-wired with a top-notch security system, which will aid police in reaching a quick conclusion to this matter.

The case remains under investigation and Ms. Minaj has not commented on the incident.

Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj doesn’t seem to bothered by the robberies. She’s still active on social media and showed off a new outfit on Instagram on Thursday.
