Kentucky beauty queen ‘nuts up,’ allegedly sets roommate’s bed on fire

Christen Marie McAllister was a finalist in this year’s Miss Kentucky USA pageant

An argument between a Kentucky beauty queen and her roommate turned ugly when the former Miss Kentucky finalist allegedly set her roommate’s bed on fire during the heated dispute.

According to Fox News, Christen Marie McAllister was arrested on suspicion of arson after authorities responded to the fire. The incident reportedly took place on February 18 in off-campus housing at the University of Louisville.

McAllister reportedly confessed to setting the furniture on fire. No one was hurt.

The 22-year-old competed in the Miss Kentucky USA pageant last month, and placed fifth. According to a GoFundMe page, it was McAllister’s second time competing in the Miss Kentucky pageant; the previous year, she placed in the top 15.
