“Cash Me Ousside” update: Viral video sparks investigation by Child Protective Services

Danielle Bregoli’s mother is currently the centerpiece of a Child Protective Services (CPS) investigation after footage of a fight between the pair was leaked online in March.

Oxygen reports that Danielle, 14, was seen on a video in a violent interaction with her mother, Barbara Ann, 49, after the teen’s former friend reportedly leaked the footage online. The altercation took place three years ago, when Danielle was 11. According to Danielle, they were involved in “horse play,” but given her age, CPS is required to investigate the family to determine if there’s child abuse in the home.

Apparently someone who saw the video filed a complaint. They Boynton Police department indicated that they wouldn’t get involved unless they receive a formal complaint from someone.

It’s still unclear what mom and daughter were fighting about in the video, but there was mention of a phone as Barbara Ann smacked Danielle repeatedly while holding her down. She also called Danielle a “b****” on several occasions during the 22-second clip.

Last month, Danielle told TMZ that her mother was just playing around with her. She said that her mother never abused her and people were blowing the incident out of proportion.

“It wasn’t what it was at all. We were play fighting on the floor and I hit her too hard and so she kind of just pushed me on the floor – that’s all that happened.  That’s how we fight. Obviously I’m not no little a** girl and neither is my mom. We were rough at it but that’s about it. She didn’t hurt me.”

The story is still developing. Check back later as additional become available.
