URGENT! More details on missing AMBER Alert girl, Stormmie Clemmer

Authorities say she could be imminent danger

Authorities are looking for a 15-year-old girl who disappeared from Alpine, Texas, on Thursday. Police fear she is in imminent danger.

Stormmie Clemmer was last seen in the Alpine area wearing hiking shoes, blue jean shorts, a black shirt, and a necklace with a heart and dragon claw. She’s described as Caucasian, 5-feet-7 inches tall, with brown hair and green eyes. She weighs around 100 pounds.

The Brewster County Sheriff’s Office think that she is with a 20-year-old man, Andrew Akers. He’s described as Caucasian, 5-feet-11-inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. He weighs around 210 pounds. He drives a black 2000 model Ford Ranger extended cab pickup truck, with five-spoke chrome rims and fender flares. Authorities stated that the truck may have a temporary Ohio license plate.

On Thursday night, the pair was reportedly spotted going east on Interstate 20, possibly towards Dallas or Ohio.

Stormmies’s parents told authorities that their daughter had been talking to Akers for around five months prior to disappearing. They recently blocked her from all social media and sent to her Alpine to live with her grandfather and take a Driver’s Education class. Stormmie’s grandfather told police he wasn’t aware of the situation with Akers. She was last seen at her Driver’s Ed. class in Alpine. Authorities think Akers picked her up right after class on Thursday.

There’s currently an active kidnapping warrant out on Akers. Anyone with any information is urged to contact Brewster County Sheriff’s Office at (432) 837-3488 or dial 911.
