A woman’s torso and leg was found washed up in two different areas in New York City on Saturday and reportedly, her blood has been found inside her boyfriend’s apartment.
New York Daily News reports that authorities discovered the decapitated and dismembered remains of who they believe was Jennifer Londono, 31, close to the Gowanus Bay and Buttermilk Channel in NYC. While a forensics team is testing the DNA to get a positive identity, a disclosed source apparently revealed that Londono’s blood was discovered in her boyfriend’s bathtub.
The source said that detectives have already found inconsistencies in the boyfriend’s story, which led to the search of his apartment and ultimately to the victim’s blood in the bathtub. Londono, a manager at the Luna Lounge on Armory Street, was first reported missing on June 25.

Earlier this week, police released images of a tattoo that looked similar to a tattoo found on the victim’s body. Londono’s mother called the police and told them that her missing daughter had a tattoo that matched. She explained that the tattoo meant “Lily” or “Lilyann” and that Londono got the tattoo as a tribute to her late aunt.
Meanwhile, the source indicated that a dog may have assisting in finding blood inside Londono’s 40-year-old boyfriend’s bathtub. So far, his name has not been released.
“She was a loving, sweet person, she had no problems with anybody, she had a lot of friends. Everyone loved her, we still don’t understand why someone would do that to her,” said Londono’s longtime friend, Marcela Toro.
Authorities are still investigating. Anyone with any information should call 1-800-577-TIPS.
