Kate Beckindale’s stalker travels across country to follow her and once even threatened to stab her: Police

Florida police have arrested a man known for stalking actress Kate Beckinsale after he followed her all the way across the country, as reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Terry Lee Repp, 45, was taken into custody at the Tampa Bay Convention Center and arrested on stalking charges.

Beckinsdale was in Florida attending the Tampa Bay Comic Con in her role as a featured speaker.  It was on the convention floor when police noticed Repp, according to authorities.

As reported by ABC Action News, this isn’t Repp’s first time being arrested for stalking the 44-year-old actress. Repp made physical contact with her in Utah in 2016 and allegedly threatened to stab her. He was also arrested that same year in Texas for stalking the star of the Underworld film series.

Police have said that the 45-year-old Iowan appears to “have an irrational obsession with the victim and has traveled across the country in an effort to harass her,” according to TMZ.

Authorities have indicated that he has been following and harassing the actress for over a year.

A Florida judge on Sunday ordered that Repp’s misdemeanor stalking charge be upgraded to a felony charge, on account of his repeated attempts to follow the actress around the country and his past threats of violence.

A Hillsborough County judge has set his bail at $5,000.

The panel went on as intended and Beckinsale fulfilled her role as a featured speaker. She has not responded to the series of incidents involving her stalker.
