Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a Canadian teen who was last seen leaving a party at Memorial University in St. John’s, Newfoundland on Tuesday.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) said Allison Smith, 18, left the college party at around 1 a.m. Tuesday but failed to show up for a 9 a.m. appointment in Clarenville, where her family resides. According to CBC News, authorities are asking that the public keep an eye out for her gray, four-door 2012 Hyundai Elantra with Newfoundland and Labrador license plate HVB 594. The car has a black bug deflector, and window rain guards.
Smith is described as 5- feet-10 inches tall, with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen was wearing dark jeans and a white tank top.
The RNC’s Major Crime Unit is conducting the investigation. Anyone who has information regarding Allison Smith’s whereabouts is urged to contact the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
