Corey Feldman arrested for marijuana amid renewed interest in Hollywood pedophilia claims

Actor Corey Feldman was arrested for possession of marijuana in Louisiana on Saturday, causing him to miss a scheduled performance. The arrest comes on the heels of renewed interest in his statements regarding Hollywood pedophilia.

The News-Star reports that authorities stopped Feldman for an alleged traffic violation in Richland Parish, Louisiana, where police reportedly found him in possession of marijuana. Richland Parish Sheriff Gary Gilley said Feldman was arrested on a misdemeanor charged and released with no bond. He also said around six people in Feldman’s entourage, including band members, are facing charges, although he didn’t specify what the possible charges are.

Feldman’s arrest occurred just days after a 2013 video resurfaced in which Feldman detailed the reported pervasive problem with pedophilia in Hollywood. Feldman also wrote about the abuse in his autobiography, “Coreygraphy.” The accusations, according to Feldman, have been swept under the rug for years.

The actor claimed he told detectives in Santa Barbara, California, in 1993, that he was molested as a child. However, Feldman said that the officers were only interested in claims against Michael Jackson, who was under investigation for child molestation at the time. Once Feldman told them that Jackson never touched him, they reportedly didn’t bother following up on Feldman’s claims.

On Thursday, Feldman took to Twitter to remind his followers that although there is a lot of renewed interest in his claims about Hollywood pedophilia, he’s still on tour, and wanted to focus on his upcoming concert dates. Regardless, the Stand By Me actor wrote that he’s “working on a plan” to help shed light on the situation without putting himself or his family in danger. Ironically, he was arrested just two days later.

Feldman stated he has no plans on releasing the names of his abusers. His plan, at this point, is shrouded in mystery. He said it would only come to fruition if he can find a way for justice to actually happen.
