Andy Dick dropped from movie amid sexual harassment claims

Andy Dick was reportedly fired from an independent feature film for allegedly groping people’s genitals and unwanted licking and kissing.

Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that Dick, 51, was dropped from Raising Buchanan for ongoing inappropriate behavior. The sources also claimed that Dick sexually propositioned four cast members.

The actor denied groping allegations with a conversation with THR.

“I don’t grope people anymore. I don’t expose myself anymore. I might have kissed somebody on the cheek to say goodbye and then licked them. That’s my thing,” he commented.

Dick acknowledged his reputation, joking that his middle name is “misconduct” and that people who work with him “know what they signed up for.”

He also didn’t deny allegations that he propositioned multiple cast and crew.

“Of course I’m going to proposition people,” he told THR. “I’m single, depressed, lonely and trying to get a date. They can just say no, and they probably did and then I was done.”

“I don’t know the difference between sexual harassment and trying to get a date.”

During the interview, he recalled filmmakers being “incensed” by him talking about and defending Harvey Weinstein. However, he didn’t elaborate on what was said.

A source also revealed to THR that his behavior on set raised questions about his sobriety. Dick denied being intoxicated but claimed to have taken too many Xanax which made him act “loopy.”

The 51-year-old ended the phone interview with saying that he’ll retire if more allegations come out against him.

“I won’t do it anymore,” he said. “I won’t lick anyone’s face anymore. We have an agreement.”
