WARNING PARENTS: YouTube channel shows dad tormenting his young daughters, posing them in a way that is attracting pedophiles

The popular channel, Toy Freaks, had more than 8 million subscribers

Youtube has reportedly shut down the channel Toy Freaks following criticism that the Illinois father’s content exploited his young daughters and catered to pedophiles with specific fetishes.

A Youtube representative told Buzzfeed News that Greg Chism’s channel was terminated last week for violating user guidelines. Multiple videos on the father’s popular channel featured him terrifying his daughters, Annabelle and Victoria — often with animals —  and also showed them dressed up as babies.

“We recently tightened the enforcement of these policies to tackle content featuring minors where we receive signals that cause concern,” the representative said in a statement to Buzzfeed.

“It’s not always clear that the uploader of the content intends to break our rules, but we may still remove their videos to help protect viewers, uploaders, and children…We will be conducting a broader review of associated content in conjunction with expert Trusted Flaggers.”

One video shows Chism putting a frog in a bath as his daughters, dressed in pink bathing suits, played with dolls. The older sibling laughs while 5-year-old Annabelle screams in terror and begs her father to get the frog out the tub.

“You freaked out,” Chism is heard saying as he retrieves the frog from the tub.

UK-based newspaper The Times reports that this video was viewed nearly 100 million times. An equally-disturbing video reportedly caught Chism rolling his eyes as Annabelle screamed and cried in horror because of a spider in her carseat.

“Wow,” continues the voiceover. “I hadn’t seen Annabelle freak out like that since I threw the frog in the tub. Check that video out some time.”

That video was viewed more than 50 million times and was part of a playlist called “Annabelle Freaking Out,” according to The Times.

However, the Toy Freaks channel had several videos that could potentially appeal to pedophiles, experts told the newspaper. Those videos showed the two girls wearing baby clothes, acting like babies, throwing up food, and even pretending to urinate on themselves. According to Buzzfeed, one video depicted Annabelle “peeing” on Victoria and the camera zooming into a wet spot on the ground.

These “bad baby” videos were often accompanied by a comment section that would sexualize the young girls. Alarmingly, this type of content is primarily targeted to children and remains a strong presence on Youtube — a disturbing phenomenon examined in a Medium post that went viral earlier this month.

Chism’s spokesman, Aaron Perlut, claimed that three videos were uploaded to the Kids app without Chism’s knowledge, resulting in those videos being flagged and Youtube eliminating the channel.

“With the concerns surrounding the Toy Freaks channel, [Chism] thought it would be advisable to, at least in the meantime, take his other channels down,” he said.

The father of two said he plans to cooperate with Youtube as they conduct their investigation.
