A young pornography actress was found dead just days after posting on social media about spending the holidays alone, making this the fourth tragic death of an adult industry star in just two months.

The New York Post reports that Olivia Nova, 20, was found dead in her Las Vegas home sometime after the holidays. The exact date and the cause of death are not yet known.

On December 25, Nova, who only recently joined the adult industry after working as a model beginning at age 12, posted a message to her 20,000 Twitter followers about spending the holidays alone.

Alone on the holidays and want to give a fan a holiday call. ❤️ would lift my spirits ?

Nova got many replies to her tweet, and responded to them with good humor, and did not indicate that she was despondent. Her Twitter account remained active until January 5.

Nova was represented by LA Direct Models, which shared a statement with the New York Post saying the agency was “beyond shocked by [Nova’s] sudden death.”

“While only represented by Direct Models for a short period of time, we came to know Olivia as a beautiful girl with a very sweet and gentle personality.”

As CrimeOnline previously reported, well-known porn star August Ames died of an apparent suicide in December, shortly after she was bullied online for publicizing her decision not to engage in sex scenes with gay actors. In California, it is commonplace for pornography performers to film scenes without protection, and performers are required to have regular STD checks.

A month before that, Shyla Stylez, a veteran porn star who had recently retired from the industry, reportedly died in her sleep at age 35.

And just a week after Ames died, actress Yuri Love, 31, was found dead in her Los Angeles apartment of an apparent drug overdose.
