North Carolina authorities issued an AMBER Alert for a 4-year-old boy who disappeared from Laurinburg on Weds.
The North Carolina Department of Public Safety reports that Raul Johnson was last seen walking down Village Drive toward Crestline Road in Laurinburg, at around 11:30 a.m. Authorities indicated that the child was on foot and may have wandered off. Scotland County Sheriff Ralph Kersey said that dive teams are in the process of checking area ponds.

Raul stands 3 feet tall and weighs around 38 pounds. He was last seen wearing an striped orange shirt and white pajama pants with rocket ship designs on them. He wasn’t wearing shoes when he disappeared. He has black hair and brown eyes.
According to ABC, authorities set up two command posts, one on at the Stewartsville Fire Station and the other at the Good News Chapel. Close to 300 people are volunteering in the search efforts to find the boy.
