Kim Cattrall’s brother Chris Cattrall has been found dead after he went missing last week.
The Sex and The City actress announced the tragic news on Twitter Sunday, just hours after she made a plea for help in finding her brother, who went missing from his home in Alberta, Canada, on January 30.
“It is with great sadness that myself and my family announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall,” the actress wrote in a Twitter post.

It is not know how Chris Cattrall died or where he was found. In an Instagram post earlier Sunday, Cattrall said that her brother’s personal belongings including his wallet, cell phone and keys were left behind, and that it was unlike him to be out of contact or to leave his dogs without care.
