Heather Locklear busted for domestic violence and battery after she attacks boyfriend and deputies: Police

Actress Heather Locklear was arrested on Sunday for domestic violence and battery after she allegedly attacked her boyfriend, then attacked California deputies who responded to a 911 call.

TMZ reports that Locklear’s brother called authorities to her home in Thousand Oaks, California, after the 56-year-old actress reportedly had a physical confrontation with boyfriend, leaving a visible mark on him. When deputies arrived to the home, the actress reportedly attacked them and began flailing her arms and kicking her legs. Three deputies were attacked during the episode, according to authorities.

According to Capt. Dean Cook of the Thousand Oaks Police Department, Locklear was arrested and charged with one felony count of domestic violence and three misdemeanor counts of “battery on emergency personnel.” Variety reports that the actress was booked into the Ventura County Jail but has since bailed out.

This isn’t the first time the “Melrose Place” actress has been in legal trouble over domestic violence. In 2012, she was involved in a violent altercation with her former fiancé, actor and singer Jack Wagner. Locklear allegedly went on a drug and alcohol binge prior to the incident, but the charges were later dropped.

“Ms. Locklear and Mr. Wagner had a discussion, and that was the end of it. No charges will be filed in the matter, and the case is closed,” Los Angeles City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljian said at the time, according to Radar Online.
