According to a message on the Central Michigan University website, the two people fatally shot at Campbell Hall Friday morning were not students at the university, and the shooting is believed to be a domestic situation. The gunman has been identified as s James Eric Davis. He is 19 years old, 5’10”, and 135 pounds.

Two people were shot and killed when an unidentified gunman opened fire at Centra Michigan University Friday morning.
Fox News reports that the gunman fatally shot two people at the campus in Mount Pleasant, 80 miles outside of Lansing. Emergency alerts sent out to students and staff at about 9 a.m Friday reportedly said there was a shooter had opened fire at Campbell Hall.
The suspect is still at large an d is considered armed and dangerous. He is reportedly a black male with short hair wearing a blue hoodie and yellow jeans. He was seen with a weapon tucked under his belt.
“We don’t know where he is,” police told the news station.
