BREAKING: New York college on lockdown due to ‘credible’ threat

Utica College in upstate New York is currently on lockdown due to a “real and credible” threat, according to a notice from the school’s social media account.

According to WUTR-TV, a local ABC affiliate in Utica, the lockdown order was in response to two phone calls the school received Monday morning, in which the caller reportedly threatened the school’s Gordon Science Center.

According to the school’s most recent Twitter post, law enforcement is on campus evacuating buildings and responding to the situation. No shots have been fired, and no injuries have been reported.

This is a developing story, and will be updated as more information becomes available.
