Three people, including the suspected shooter, are hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting at Great Mills High School in Maryland Tuesday morning.
Mary’s County Sheriff Tim Cameron told an MSNBC affiliate that the three shooting victims are currently being treated at nearby hospitals.
“A single shooter fired a round at a female victim just at the beginning of school hours this morning. The shooter was then engaged by the School Resource Officer,” Sheriff Cameron said.
The sheriff did not identify the victims but reiterated that two people were shot in addition to the shooter. It is not confirmed if the SRO is among the injured.
