According to NBC 3, the motel clerk was outside taking a smoke break when two males and a female approached him. As the clerk turned to walk back inside, one of the men allegedly grabbed him and pulled out a handgun. The motel clerk tried to fight him off but ended up getting shot in the leg when the gun discharged.
The trio fled shortly after the clerk made it inside the motel and managed to lock the doors before the suspects could get in. The hotel clerk was taken to a local hospital for treatment after dialing 911.
One of the suspects is described as a black male in his mid 20s. The description of the other male suspect is not yet known.
Skye is a white female who stands 5 feet, 8 inches tall. She weighs around 156 pounds and has black/brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing tan sandals and a black Columbia-brand jacket, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI).
Anyone with any information on the teen’s whereabouts should call the McMinn County E-911 center at 423-745-5613 or TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
