AMBER Alert: Missing 12-year-old girl last seen getting into car with older man

A 12-year-old girl in Colorado is missing and endangered after she was allegedly abducted by a middle-aged man as she was walking home from school with a friend.

The Denver Post reports that Raeanna Rosencrans has been missing since Wednesday afternoon, when she was seen getting into a car with a man who called her by her name as she was walking from home school in Grand Junction.

Raeanna is 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 137 pounds. She is white with dark blonde hair and blue eyes, and was wearing a black & white top and black jeans on Wednesday afternoon. She was carrying a black & white backpack and wearing Adidas shoes.

The man who is suspected of abducting Raeanna is white; 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a medium build; and is bald. He was wearing a green button-down shirt and driving a boxy green car. His relationship to the missing girl is not known at this time.

According to NBC 11 News, an AMBER alert was issued Wednesday night.

Anyone with information about Raeanna’s whereabouts is urged to call 911.
