Little Caesars worker kills robber wearing creepy clown mask: Police

A would-be robber is dead after a Little Caesers employee shot and killed while trying to rob the Florida pizza shop on Saturday night.

WFT9 ABC reports that the incident occurred at the Little Caesers pizza shop off of 158 Ridgewood Avenue in Holly Hill, at around 11:50 p.m. Employee Heriberto Feliciano, 28, was working, when a man wearing a clown mask walked in the store, approached him and started hitting him with a wooden post. After hitting Feliciano until the post broke, the man pulled out a pair of scissors and allegedly attempted to stab the employee.

According to police, Feliciano reached for a gun and shot the man, who remains unidentified, around four to fiver times. The masked man later passed away at the Halifax Medical Center after authorities found him bleeding in the parking lot. Police Chief Steve Aldrich indicated that no one else was involved in the incident.

“Even though he’s being attacked he’s able to pull out a concealed firearm he has and fires multiple rounds at the suspect,” Aldrich explained, according to FOX 51. “This is very unusual for this area; we’re obviously aggressively pursuing this to find out where this individual came from and why this attack occurred. Very unusual.”

The employee had minor injuries after the ordeal.
