XXXTentacion: Controversial rapper shot dead in broad daylight apparently predicted his own death in eerie Instagram video

XXXTentacion—the controversial rapper shot dead in his car in Florida on Monday—reportedly foretold his own death in an Instagram Live video that’s making the rounds in light of his slaying.

TMZ reported XXXTentacion was fatally shot by two suspects while leaving a car dealership in Broward County. Witnesses reportedly claimed the rapper had no pulse at the scene and said a Louis Vuitton bag was stolen from the rapper’s vehicle. As of Tuesday, reports indicated that police are investigating the incident as a robbery.

As news of the “SAD!” rapper’s death hit the Internet, so did multiple videos apparently showing his lifeless body slumped back in the driver’s seat of a black car.

Another video being circulated reportedly captures XXXTentacion talking about what he wanted his legacy to be after he dies at a young age.

“If worse thing comes to worst, and I f**king die or some s**t and I’m not able to see out my dreams, I at least want to know that the kids perceived my message and were able to make something of themselves and able to take my message and use it and turn it into something positive and to at least have a good life,” he says in the undated video.
“If I’m going to die or ever be a sacrifice, I want to make sure that my life made at least five million kids happy or they found some sort of answers or resolve in my life regardless of the negative around my name, regardless of the bad things people say to me.”

Hours before his death, the 20-year-old had posted about a charity event this weekend in Florida, according to the Tampa Bay Times. But the rapper, born Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, wasn’t without controversy.

At the time of his death, XXXTentacion was facing charges of battery, false imprisonment, and witness tampering in connection with an October 2016 incident that involved his pregnant then-girlfriend. The New York Times reported had choked, kicked, and beat her before taking her cellphone and kept her at an associate’s home for two days before she could escape.

In 2016, XXXTentacion was accused of being homophobic when he recalled a story during YouTube podcast “No Jumper” which entailed him choking and battering a gay cellmate while jailed at a juvenile detention center. Then, in 2017, his video for “Look at Me” sparked outrage as it showed the rapper lynching a young white boy.

Police announced that they’re offering $3,000 to anyone with information leading to an arrest in the 20-year-old’s murder.
