Authorities issued a Florida missing child alert on Thursday for a 3-week-old baby boy who disappeared from Gainesville.
NBC reports that infant Jayce Jenkins was last seen off of the 4300 block of Southwest 13th Street. Officials say 37-year-old Alison Jenkins could possibly have the baby, although it’s still unclear what her relationship to Jayce is.
Jayce has blonde hair, blue eyes, and according to initial reports, weight around six pounds. Jenkins stands 5-foot-3 and has brown hair and blue eyes. Her weight is unknown.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Alachua Sheriff’s Office at 352-955-1818, or dial 911.
