Two elementary school employees were shot outside a Kansas middle school on Tuesday morning, and are reportedly in critical condition.
According to NBC News, two male employees working at a playground at Overland Park Elementary School were shot just before 9 a.m. Police responded to a report of an armed disturbance and the victims were transported to a hospital where they are reportedly in critical condition.

No students were present at the school at the time of the shooting,
A suspect in the shooting is also believed to have been involved in a nearby carjacking and a carjacking attempt.
Investigators are reportedly looking for a white male driving a black GMC Denali SUV, the vehicle stolen in the carjacking.
