Justice for Junior: Two more alleged gang members arrested for teen’s stabbing death; police release footage showing 11th suspect

Witnesses and video footage reportedly led to the recent arrests of two alleged Trinitarios street gang members—one high ranking—in connection with last month’s stabbing death of Bronx teen Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz.

According to the New York Daily NewsDiego Suero, 29, and Gabriel Ramirez Concepcion, 26, were charged Wednesday with Guzman-Feliz’s murder and are being held without bail. A complaint alleged they were involved in dragging the 15-year-old out of a local bodega before he was stabbed to death with machetes.

The newspaper noted that the Concepcion and Suero arrests bring the number of people in custody for the June 20 murder to 10. Each of the 10 suspects is allegedly gang-affiliated; sources told WCBS that Suero is the local leader of the Trinitarios gang.

Alarmingly, reports indicated that the same gang is behind a June 18 attack along the Bronx River Parkway that nearly claimed the life of a 14-year-old boy.

With 10 men behind bars, the New York Police Department announced Wednesday that authorities are looking for an 11th suspect and provided pictures of the suspect and two vehicles—a white Acura and a black Acura—they believe were involved in the crime.

Following the slaying, WPIX reported that the suspect was spotted hopping into a white 4-door sedan and traveling northbound on Bathgate Avenue. Police said the suspect seen in the pictures is 20 to 23 years old and was wearing a bun, shirt, jeans, and multi-colored sneakers.

“We’re not going to rest until anyone responsible, having any role whatsoever in that tragic incident, is brought to justice,” NYPD Chief of Detective Dermot Shea said, according to news station.

“We’re still not finished.”

This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information regarding the June 20 murder of Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-8477 (TIPS). Spanish speakers can call 1-888-57-74782 (PISTA).
