URGENT: Young boy on ‘Endangered Person Advisory’ still missing!

Authorities are searching for a missing boy who police say disappeared from his grandparents’ Missouri home on July 29 after his mother, accused of being on drugs, reportedly took him.

Kansas City Star reports that Grayson Darnell, 4, vanished from his grandparents’ Warsaw home off of 100 block of West Gold Street on early Sunday Morning at around 3 a.m. He’s said to be with his non-custodial mother, Julie Darnell, 36, who allegedly uses methamphetamines and suffers from drug-induced schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Authorities found Darnell’s red 2006 Buick Lucerne abandoned in Russeville on Sunday, close to Fahrni Road off of Highway C, according to ABC 17. Someone passing by told authorities they saw a woman and a child walking into nearby woods, not far from where police found the car.

Grayson is a white male who stands 3-feet-1-inch tall and weighs around 60 pounds. He has brown eyes, brown hair, and a surgical scar on his top lip. He was last seen wearing blue-and-green plaid shorts and a black and grey Star Wars” hooded sweatshirt.

Darnell is a white female who stands 5-feet-2-inches tall and weighs around 125 pounds. She has hazel eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with any information is asked to call 911 or their local authorities.
