Denver authorities arrested a 16-year-old Colorado girl on Wednesday, in connection with the death of 7-year-old Jordan Vong.
The Denver Channel reports that investigators found Jordan deceased inside his family’s home off of the 4900 block of Fairplay Street in Denver’s Montbello neighborhood. Authorities said the little boy was intentionally concealed and they’re treating the death as foul play.
Although they cannot release the teen suspect’s name due to her age, investigators said they found enough evidence to take her into custody on Wednesday on a first-degree murder charge. The teen apparently lived in the household with Jordan, but authorities declined to say what her relationship was with the boy.
A go-fund-me page has been started for 7-year-old Jordan Vong. The boy's body was found last night in the family's home. The body was "intentionally concealed" according to police and a 16 y/o girl has been arrested.

Denver Police Division Chief Joe Montoya stated that initially the family was “cooperative to point.” Authorities obtained a search warrant to search the home after the family reportedly became uncooperative. Twenty hours after the boy was reported missing, investigators recovered his body.
“It was intentionally concealed, and it took some time to find it,” Montoya said.
Police didn’t provide a motive but neighbor Alondra Morales gave The Denver Channel a bit of her own personal insight about the family.
“People did kind of steer away from that house, just not mess with it,” Morales said. “I’m sure everyone thought something happened in that house.”
Within the next 48 hours, the county’s District Attorney will decied whether the suspect will be charged as a minor or as an adult.
