The husband of a Colorado mother missing with her two young daughters has been arrested after reportedly confessing to killing his pregnant wife and children.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, 34-year-old Shanann Watts and three- and four-year-old daughters were reported missing from Frederick, Colorado, earlier this week. Shanann was 15 weeks pregnant when she vanished.
Fox News reports that Shanann’s husband Chris Watts, 33, confessed to police that he killed his wife and daughters Celeste and Bella, just hours after recording a tearful video plea for their safe return.
Multiple news outlets have reported that law enforcement officials confirmed the husband and father’s confession, just hours after he recorded a video with a news outlet pleading for his family’s safe return.
A law enforcement source tells 9Wants to Know that Chris Watts has admitted to killing his pregnant wife, Shanann Watts, and their two young girls. He has been detained by Frederick law enforcement.
