A 14-year-old Texas girl who went missing earlier this month has been found safe and was reunited with her family Thursday, MySanAntonio.com reports.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, Allana “Lana” Nicole Martinez was babysitting her younger siblings on August 3 when she walked out of her family’s apartment in San Antonio to take out the trash, but failed to return.
The trash bag was found near the front door of the home, and Allana left her belongings and cellphone behind—leaving loved ones fearing for the teen’s safety.

While authorities haven’t released details surrounding the girl being found after disappearing, a police spokesperson told MySanAntonio.com that Allana is “doing well.”
The girl’s father, Raul Moreno, announced the relieving news via his Facebook page, according to the media outlet.
“Friends and family I just want to let everyone know that Allana has been found and is safe thank you all for your prayers.”
