MISSING: Dad of toddler says mom who took little girl has mental illness, left home without medication

Isabella Adala has been missing for five days

A Florida woman who disappeared with her toddler daughter on Wednesday reportedly suffers mental illness and left home with the child without medication and other necessities.

Local News 10 reports that Aaron Lester is passing flyers out throughout Miami, in hopes that someone will recognize his missing 2-year-old daughter, Isabel Alada. The little girl is thought to be with her mother, 27-year-old Russel Alada, who allegedly takes medication for her mental issues. Lester said Alada and his daughter live with him at the Milagro Coral Gables complex at 2263 SW 37th Avenue in Miami, but he came home to find both of them missing on Wednesday.

“I think that she has challenges that make the world a scarier place,” Lester said of his wife, recalling her alleged mental problems.

Due to her reported challenges, Lester thinks his both his wife and daughter may be in danger. He told the outlet that he and his wife had been attending marriage counseling, but after a recent stress-filled and particularly difficult counseling session, Alada took off with Isabela, without packing any diapers and clothes for the little girl. Lester said his wife failed to pack any clothing for herself as well.

Lester also claimed Isabella was having her own therapy via sessions with a psychologist at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, to “deal with her mother’s condition.”

According to the father, Adala disappeared previously while pregnant and living in her native country, the Philippines. Lester said she was found several days later living at a McDonald’s.

“Don’t worry about feeling uncomfortable about talking to a policeman or talking to a doctor or a nurse,” Lester said, pleading for the community to help find his child. “I think that everyone in the community wants to help Isabella get home.”

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Isabella stands 3-feet tall and weighs around 30 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
