A woman who made headlines earlier this week for randomly ringing doorbells while partially dressed and wearing shackles, has been found safe. According to police, however, her boyfriend killed himself after her story went viral.
Montgomery authorities were called to a home in the Sunrise Ranch subdivision on Wednesday, after somoene asked them to conduct a welfare check on a person inside a residence off of Sunrise Pines. Once they arrived, officers found a deceased male inside the home.
“On August 29th 2018 at about 11 a.m. the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a welfare check call in the 18400 block of Sunrise Pines in the Sunrise Ranch subdivision,”Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Scott Spencer said during a press brief on Wednesday afternoon.
“Deputies received information a male made suicidal comments. When deputies arrived on scene they could not get an answer at the door and due to the circumstances made forced entry into the home. A man was found deceased inside the home,” the spokesperson continued.

The spokesperson also confirmed the mystery woman in the video is safe, but given a reported domestic violence situation, her identity is being withheld. Police said that the woman in question is not the sister of a Nevada woman who said her sister left with an unknown man to Texas. The woman has been taken to safety and is no longer in Montgomery County, according to authorities.
“The male was identified as a 49 year old white male. They preliminary cause of death is believed to be a single gunshot wound. The deceased’s girlfriend a 32 year old white female, who was not on scene when deputies arrived, is confirmed to be the female in the doorbell ring video. Due to the female’s status as a family violence victim, the female’s identity can not be released at this time. The female is confirmed to be safe and with family. The investigation will continue.”
