A Nevada woman says another woman, caught on surveillance in Texas ringing a stranger’s doorbell while partially dressed, could possibly be her sister who allegedly left home with a man she barely knew.

Mail Online reports that 19-year-old Caitlyn Denison, according to her sister Rachael Denison, was around a month pregnant when she announced she met a man and planned to take a flight with him to Midland, Texas. Caitlyn, of Reno, Nevada, reportedly left in January and has yet to return home.

Rachel reportedly said that she hasn’t seen Caitlyn since she left and the last thing her sister to her was, “This guy makes me scared for my life.”

As CrimeOnline previously reported, at around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, a surveillance camera captured a woman ringing the doorbell of a home before fleeing. According to another resident in the neighborhood who didn’t want to give their identity, the woman rang several doorbells of homes in the neighborhood but apparently left when she didn’t get anyone to answer.

The woman, who appeared to be pregnant, was partially dressed, wearing a t-shirt and broken wrist shackles.

Rachael said she studied the surveillance video and thinks the mystery woman may be Caitlyn, based on her sister’s tattoos and what appears to be a tattoo on the woman’s finger in the video. The mystery woman who appeared pregnant also convinced Rachael that the woman was indeed her sister.

“I have come to believe that this is my sister due to a tattoo that she has of the Libra scales on her arm…….The similarities are too much to miss. Please. I want my sister home so badly.”

Rachel indicated that she has been in touch with police. She also said no one in their family knows who the man is. They don’t even know his name.

Authorities arrived to the scene shortly after the incident, when a concerned citizen called for police assistance, claiming the mystery woman reportedly rang several doorbells of homes in the neighborhood. Officers canvassed the area thoroughly and went door-to-door questioning the neighborhood’s residents. The woman’s identity still remains a mystery.

“Numerous citizens in the state and outside have sent missing persons flyers suggesting the women in the video is a missing person from their area,” the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said. “Deputies and Detectives are reviewing these flyers for any similarities, but as of now none are believed to be the women in the video.”

One of the neighbors, who didn’t want to be identified, said the woman rang her bell around 20 times.

“We were dead asleep in our beds. My husband was woken up by doorbell ring. It rang probably 20 to 30 times,” the neighbor said, according to Click2Houston. “He walked outside no one was in sight. It’s like she disappeared in thin air.”

Another resident, paramedic Alicia Simmons, said the mystery woman had something on her that appeared as if she was restrained.

“That long piece that a lot of people think is a lanyard looks like the long piece from the restraints that they use to like…..they put it on your hand and tie it something else. On her other hand you can see there is a broken handcuff there.”

Anyone with any information on the mystery woman is urged to contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 936-760-5800.
