An Arizona man accused of killing his pregnant and abducting his two young sons may be in Mexico, according to authorities.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Phoenix Police Department is searching for Dimas Coronado on suspicion of fatally shooting his children’s mother, Oralia Nunez, 24, along with another victim, Omar Gonzalez, 34. The incident occurred at around 4:20 a.m. on Saturday, at a home off of 32nd Avenue and Van Buren Street in Phoenix. Authorities said Nunez was eight months pregnant, resulting in a warrant for triple homicide charges for Coronado.

An AMBER Alert initially taken out in Arizona has been extended to Mexico as of Monday. Police say authorities in the area have been alerted that Coronado may have made his way there with the children.

Coronado is also accused of fleeing with his two sons, Victor Coronado-Nunez, 8, and Jonathan Coronado-Nunez, 5. Coronado is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Meanwhile, AZ Family reports that the Ornalia’s father, Joaquin Nunez-Calderon, accused Coronado of hitting and slapping Ornalia and in the past.

“I don’t know if it was his age, jealously or what it may have been, my daughter never talked to me about it but I noticed they had issues. There were times he hit her and slapped her.”

Nunez-Calderon’s claimed echoed what the Phoenix police said in a media brief on Saturday. They confirmed the couple had domestic issues. Family members indicated that the boys are not safe with their father.

According to police, a family friend said Coronado and Nunez were married and and had been together for around nine years. The pair had only recently split up within the past few months. Nunez was reportedly afraid of Coronado, as she was fighting for custody of the two children.

Coronado is a Hispanic male who stands 5-feet- 6-inches tall, and weighs around 190 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes. Jonathan is a Hispanic male who stands 3-feet-6-inches tall and weighs around 45 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Victor is a Hispanic male who stands 4 feet all and weighs around 60 pounds.
