AMBER ALERT: 14-year-old girl disappears from home, believed to be with 21-year-old military deserter, cops say

Authorities in Arizona are looking for a missing 14-year-old girl and the 21-year-old man with whom they believe she might be traveling.

According to KNXV, authorities in the state have issued an Amber Alert for Aubrey Gardner, who was last seen on Saturday near the area of Cactus Road and Reems Road in Surprise.

Police believe she is with Jonathan Ricarrdo Carson, though as of an update on Sunday they did not know where the two planned to travel.

Reports indicate the man is a former service member who is also facing a felony warrant for desertion and is believed to possibly be suicidal.

In addition to releasing images of Gardner and Carson, authorities distributed an image of the same type of vehicle — a grayish blue 2015 Mazda 3 — Carson is believed to be driving. The vehicle reportedly had Pennsylvania plate KKJ-4866.

The missing teen is described as 5 foot 7 inches tall. She weighs about 110 pounds and has long brown hair and brown eyes. Carson has short brown hair and blue eyes. He stands about 5 foot 9 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds.

Garder was last seen wearing a white Lilo and Stitch T-shirt, jeans and black shoes with rose designs on the toes, according to the U.K. Daily Mail.
