A jury in Panola County, Mississippi, has reportedly told the judge that they cannot come to a decision about a verdict.
Quinton Tellis is facing trial for the second time on charges that he burned Jessica Chambers alive in December 2014. His first trial ended in a mistrial last year after the jury couldn’t agree to a verdict.
But on Monday, Judge Gerald Chatham ordered the jury back to deliberate some more after he reportedly received a note that they had been unable to reach a verdict.

The jury had been deliberating for less than a day after the defense and the prosecution rested their case over the weekend.
