The Colorado father who confessed to killing his pregnant wife and two young daughters is facing his sentencing today, two weeks after pleading guilty to the murders of his wife Shannan Watts and their daughters Bella and Celeste.
Prior to the sentencing, family members of both Shannan and Chris Watts are speaking in court, and a reporter for the Denver Channel said on Twitter that the defendant will also be given the opportunity to speak.
#BREAKINGL hearing for Chris Watts is starting now. First prosecution will present evidence, then defense will present evidence, then victims will be given a chance to speak, then prosecution and defense will argue, Watts will be able to speak and then sentence will come down. pic.twitter.com/SggDysqBlk
