New statement from Patrick Frazee’s attorney as authorities search his massive Colorado property in connection to missing Kelsey Berreth [VIDEO]

Frazee and his 1-year-old daughter were taken from the home in a sheriff’s vehicle

The attorney for Patrick Frazee, the fiance of missing Kelsey Berreth, has released a statement on behalf of his client as authorities search his Colorado property in connection to Berreth’s disappearance.

As CrimeOnline previously reported, Berreth, who shares a baby daughter with Frazee, vanished on Thanksgiving Day, and Frazee is believed to be the last person who saw her, when she met with him to hand off their daughter. Frazee did not call police in the 10 days between November 22 and the day Berreth’s mother reported her missing.

KOAA reports that Frazee was home when authorities executed a search warrant at his 35-acre Florissant property, which is about 15 miles from where Berreth lives in Woodland Park. An ABC correspondent who has been sharing updates from the scene on Twitter posted a video of a sheriff’s vehicle, and said in the post that Frazee and his 1-year-old daughter were being taken from the home in the vehicle.

Frazee’s attorney Jeremy Loew released a statement on behalf of his client, which was obtained by KOAA News:

“Patrick Frazee continues to cooperate with law enforcement in the missing person investigation of Kelsey Berreth. We understand that a search warrant was executed on Mr. Frazee’s property. Mr. Frazee was never asked to voluntarily participate in this search. We encourage law enforcement to take whatever steps it deems necessary to find Kelsey Berreth and to be able to exclude Patrick Frazee as a possible suspect in this missing person investigation. Mr. Frazee will continue not to participate in any interviews with the media and instead focus on parenting the child he shares with Ms. Berreth.”

KOAA also released video footage of the property search.

Colorado authorities are expected to give a news conference Friday afternoon with updates on the case. CrimeOnline will publish the time of the news conference once that information has been confirmed.
