Text messages reportedly sent by an Arizona teacher accused of carrying on an inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old male student appear to show how she allegedly seduced the boy into having sex with her.
Newly released police documents obtained by KTVK reportedly show how 27-year-old Brittany Zamora, who taught middle school students at Las Brisas Academy in Goodyear, “lured” the sixth grade boy “into sexual encounters” earlier this year.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, Zamora was arrested for reportedly having sex and performing oral sex on the student on multiple occasions from February 1 through March 8.
According to KTVK, the police report shows that Zamora initially began exchanging messages with the purported victim through an online educational chat room referred to as “Class Craft.” The boy, who is a minor and remains unidentified, reportedly told detectives that through the chat, the teacher told students she wouldn’t be at school and to “text her because she would be bored.” The boy reportedly said that is when the “flirting” began.

The teen’s stepmother reportedly grew suspicious after she said the boy was “acting oddly,” according to police. She then placed a monitoring app on her stepson’s phone to keep track of his communications, the documents show.
According to the police report, red flags went up after the woman noticed via the app that the boy was being called “baby” by someone. When questioned by the stepmom as to who the person in the exchange was, the teen reportedly replied, “my teacher.”
According to the New York Post, transcripts of the exchange reportedly show that Zamora texted “OMG, I love you” to the teen.
“Omg lol you’re so cute baby,” the teacher reportedly said in another exchange. “I wish you could’ve stayed after with me.”
“Me too,” the teen reportedly replied. “I wish I could just hang out with you whenever we wanted.”

The boy reportedly told detectives that he had sexual relations with the suspect on at least four occasions between February and March. One of the encounters allegedly took place in the suspect’s classroom, and another in her vehicle. In addition to being accused of having sex with the boy, Zamora is alleged to have exchanged nude photos with him.
Police documents obtained by KTVK said the suspect also spoke with the child’s parents via a recorded conversation, in which she said she would “resign from her position.”
When asked why she would engage in such inappropriate acts, Zamora allegedly replied, “I ask myself the same question…I just got really close after I think everything went down and we’re like, ‘How could that happen?’…we just got close.”
“I don’t want to say stuff and have me recorded right now and bring this to court and have me go to jail for the rest of my life,” Zamora also reportedly told the parents on the call.
Further, the police report said three students went to the school’s principal, Tim Dickey, with concerns regarding the boy’s relationship with the teacher—which the boy’s parents believe was nine days prior to Zamora’s first sexual encounter with the boy. Dickey reportedly admitted that he should’ve talked to all three students, but instead only conversed with one of them.
Zamora was arrested March 22 on charges including molestation of a child, furnishing harmful material, and sexual conduct with a minor. She pleaded not guilty and remains behind bars at Maricopa County Jail.
