A Massachusetts woman remains missing after two men reportedly her Saturday night while leaving a Boston bar, according to reports.
A police source told Radar that Olivia Ambrose, 23, was abducted after she was kicked out of Hennessy’s for being intoxicated. The source also claimed that Boston police are reviewing surveillance footage showing Ambrose being followed upon exiting the bar.
However, Ambrose’s twin sister told MassLive they were at Hennessy’s with a group of friends when she walked outside with a man who had been ousted from the pub. The outlet reported that surveillance footage indicated that the pair left together at 11:05 p.m.
The twin sister also claimed Ambrose’s iPhone 8 last pinged near Walford Way and Corey Street in Charlestown, steps away from a Boston Housing Authority complex.
On Tuesday, Boston police released an image of a “person of interest” they’re seeking in their ongoing missing person investigation. According to The Boston Globe, the photos were taken near State Street MBTA station—where one of the men is seen putting their arm around Ambrose while another walks ahead.
Moreover, The Globe reported that the man who left Hennessy’s with Ambrose was found to not have any involvement in her disappearance.
At around 12:13 a.m., the unidentified men “are observed again in the area of Green Street walking together towards Bartlett Street. A short time later, phone records indicate Ms. Ambrose’s phone was in the general area of the Bunker Hill Housing Development,” police said, according to the newspaper.
Ambrose, who had recently moved to Jamaica Plain, was described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall with blue eyes and curly brown hair. Police said she was last seen wearing a red corduroy dress under a long grey and white coat.
According to Boston.com, Ambrose works at software company, Toast, in Boston. The company has joined in on the search for the missing woman.
