Authorities have responded to an active shooter situation developing in the Chicago suburb of Aurora, Illinois.
According to ABC 7 Chicago, the Kane County sheriff confirmed an active shooter at Henry Pratt Company, a manufacturer in Aurora.
The report states that “several” have been injured and taken to a nearby hospital. The identity of the shooting suspect is not known, and the reports indicates that active shooting continued at the time of publication. Schools in the area have reportedly been placed on lockdown.
