Multiple people were reportedly killed in a shooting at a manufacturing plant in Aurora, Illinois, on Friday.
Citing the Kane County Coroner’s Office, the New York Times reports that “more than one” person was killed at the Henry Pratt Company in Aurora, which is reportedly about 40 miles west of Chicago.
The Chicago Tribune reports that the suspect, who remains unidentified, is dead. It is not known how or when the suspect was killed; earlier reports indicated that the suspect, believed to be an employee at the manufacturing plant, was in custody.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, four police officers were injured in the shooting. The Chicago Sun Times has since reported that all four officers are in stable condition.
