According to court documents related to the case against an Arizona teacher accused of having sex with a young student, another teen watched as the two carried out the illegal relationship on school property.
As Oxygen reported, the boy told police that he was tasked with serving as a lookout as 27-year-old Brittany Zamora and the alleged victim sexually touched each other in the classroom.
The boy spoke to investigators about the incident and reportedly mispronounced the term for female genitals, referring to a “Virginia” during the interview.
He said he was “one of the witnesses” and saw the teacher touching his friend. They reportedly asked him to guard the doorway that day and the following day as the relationship continued.
At one point, he said Zamora engaged in inappropriate sexual conversation with him, too.
“Ms. Zamora asked if my thing was, um … uncircumcised or circumcised, and I didn’t know what that means,” he said. “So Ms. Zamora went on her phone and looked up uncircumcised and circumcised.”
As CrimeOnline previously reported, the alleged victim’s parents alerted authorities last year after claiming to discover troubling texts from the suspect on their son’s cellphone.
Zamora has pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges against her, which include two counts of child molestation and one count of transmitting obscene material. She is expected to appear in court again in May.
