SEE IT: R. Kelly arrested AGAIN, led away from courtroom on his way to jail [VIDEO]

R. Kelly is back in police custody on Wednesday afternoon, following a court date over a six-figure sum of back child support that he owes his ex-wife.

The Chicago Tribune reports that Kelly was escorted from the hearing regarding the $161,000 in unpaid child support by Cook County sheriff’s deputies. A spokesperson for the Cook County Sheriff’s office told the New York Post that Kelly is expected to be transferred to the county jail.

The spokesperson could not confirm that Kelly was taken into custody because of the back child support. But the Chicago Tribune reports that the arrest was ordered by the same judge who told Kelly in February that he was risking jail time if he did not pay the full amount of child support he owes, plus interest.

Kelly has been free on bail for just over a week following his arrest on 10 counts of criminal sexual abuse, to which he pleaded not guilty. As CrimeOnline previously reported, Kelly could not immediately put up the $100,000 cash of the $1 million deposit bond he was held on following his arrest in February, and spent a weekend in jail before a woman who identified herself as a friend paid the $100,000 on February 26.

This is a developing story. CrimeOnline will provide further details when more information is available.
