4 people found dead inside North Dakota business in mysterious multiple homicide

Police in North Dakota held a press conference Monday to reveal more details about the bodies found at a property management company Monday — but many questions remain about the mysterious multiple homicide.

A member of the Mandan Police Department held a press conference, live-streamed by KFYR-TV, and announced that four bodies were found at the business Monday morning. The news station also obtained a news release stating that the victims were three men and one woman.

Police have not yet identified the victims, and declined to provide information about the cause and manner of death due to the ongoing investigation. The officer at the press conference said that authorities are still seeking a suspect, but said the public is not in danger. At one point he appeared to indicate that investigators have not ruled out the possibility that one of the victims may have also killed the others, but he also said that authorities are searching for a suspect outside of the crime scene.

“The investigation does not lead us to believe that anyone else is in danger,” the officer said in response to one of several reporter questions seeking to clarify the status of the investigation and a possible suspect.

The officer refused to answer many reporter questions but said it was a “large crime scene.”

This is a developing story. CrimeOnline will provide further updates when more information is available.
