Update: Missing teen girl is with older man who may have snuck in her window at night after family told him to stay away [Reports]

The FBI continues to search for a missing Louisiana teen who disappeared last week, likely with a much older man who was once a close family friend.

NBC 6 reports that authorities have placed larged billboards in several states, in attempt to locate 15-year-old Domeanna Spell, who was last seen getting off of a school bus at Port Barre High School on March 28. She’s said to be in the company of Cory “Shane” Disotell, 47, and could be traveling in a a silver 2003 Honda Civic with Louisiana license plate, 995CGK.

Domeanna’s sister, Jerrie Cradeur, told the outlet that a friend spotted the girl walking across the street to Disotell’s car after getting off of the school bus at around 7:30 a.m.

Disotell was a family friend, according to Cradeur. She explained that Domeanna was supposedly babysitting the man’s granddaughter, which is how the pair became close, but apparently the suspect lied about having a grandchild in an attempt to spend more time with the teen.

“He had become really good friends with my mom and dad. They even got a deer lease together because they were really close friends, so that’s how they knew him and then Domeanna started babysitting for his granddaughter, and come to find out there was no granddaughter there for her to be babysitting.”

Cradeur added that Disotell gave the teen money every weekend so that it would appear that she was truly babysitting.

“She probably left on her free will, but I mean…. I don’t think he would harm her in anyway, but he is said to be aggressive,” Jerry Cradeur said.

Disotell allegedly told the missing girl’s parents he wanted to marry her and according to Cradeur, Domeanna’s parents ordered him to stay away from their home and daughter.

“Everyone was pretty much hysterical,” Cradeur said, according to Inside Edition.

The pair also apparently had conversations through secret letters and a hidden cellphone, and had talked about running away to Mississippi, according to the outlet.

Several weeks ago, the girl’s parents contacted police after noticing a man captured by a neighbor’s security footage climbing into Domeanna’s bedroom window at night, after sneaking over a backyard fence. Authorities were still investigating when the pair disappeared.

“I do believe he did brainwash her. It was told to me that he is manipulative and he would have done it,” Cradeur added. “He probably has her believing that she’s safe with him and that she’s madly in love with him.”

Domeana is described as a white female who stands 5-feet-2-inches tall and weighs around 105 pounds. She has light brown hair, blue eyes and wears glasses, but she may have altered her appearance to avoid detection.

Along with Port Barre PD, the U.S. Marshals, Louisiana State Police and the FBI have joined in to find the teen. Anyone with any information is urged to contact the FBI at (800) 225-5324.
