Actor Rick Schroder was arrested Wednesday morning on suspicion of domestic violence, after allegedly attacking a woman in his California home.
Officers from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department arrived to Schroder’s Topanga home off of Gold Stone Road at around 12:43 a.m. Wednesday morning, ABC7 reports. The officers found evidence of a physical altercation on a woman at the residence. Her identity is unknown at this time.
According to TMZ, the victim, Schroder’s girlfriend, refused medical treatment. The actor allegedly punched the woman in the face as she tried to leave their home.

The incident marks the second time in 30 days that the actor has been arrested. On April 2, authorities arrested Schroder on suspicion of felony domestic assault. He posted bail shortly after the incident.
Schroder was given a $50,000 bail amount for the current charge. As of Wednesday morning, the actor was still in custody, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Schroder was the child star of the 1980s hit sitcom, “Silver Spoons.” He later landed as role as Detective Danny Sorenson on “NYPD Blue,” followed by a recurring role as Mike Doyle on the television series, “24.”
