Police in Wisconsin have released more information about the double shooting that killed a 16-year-old girl and seriously injured her mother. A 15-year-old suspect is now in custody on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, Kaylie Juga, 16, was pronounced dead at the scene after officers responded to a call about a shooting at a home in Kenosha. Kaylie’s mother, 39-year-old Stephanie Juga, was also shot and was taken to a nearby hospital where she is reportedly in serious condition.
A Fox 6 reporter shared a press release on Twitter detailing the circumstances of Martice Fuller’s arrest. The 15-year-old suspect is believed to have been in a relationship with Kaylie Juga, who was reportedly a cheerleader at Bradford High School. Authorities have not yet released a motive for the double shooting.

According to the press release, the Kenosha Police Tactical Response Team issued a warrant for a residence in Racine at about 4 a.m. on Friday in their search for the suspect. Fuller was not located at that time and authorities did not find any physical evidence at the residence. Soon after, authorities received a call from an unknown individual at another location in Racine, who said that Fuller was there and wanted to surrender to police.
“The suspect was taken into custody without incident and transported to Kenosha for questioning,” the release reads.
Police said they recovered physical evidence at the scene where the suspect was taken into custody, but did not recover a firearm.
According to a Fox 6 report, Fuller is expected to face charges of first degree intentional homicide, attempted first degree intentional homicide, and armed burglary.
Police are not seeking any additional suspects at this time.
