Arnold Schwarzenegger was was blindsided and drop kicked in the back while taking photos with fans in South Africa on Saturday, but the actor is fine now and said he’s glad the “idiot” didn’t ruin his Snapchat.
FOX News reports that Schwarzenegger, who was watching and recording a jump-rope competition at the Arnold Classic Africa event, at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, paused to smile and speak with fans when an unknown man randomly jumped up and kicked the actor in the back.
The drop kick sent Schwarzenegger tumbling to the ground. Security guards promptly detained the man.
The 71-year-old actor wasn’t injured in the event and according to a Twitter post he later made, he didn’t even realized what had happened.
“Thanks for your concerns, but there is nothing to worry about. I thought I was just jostled by the crowd, which happens a lot. I only realized I was kicked when I saw the video like all of you. I’m just glad the idiot didn’t interrupt my Snapchat.”
