Authorities in Alabama have taken a suspected cop-killer into custody after a manhunt in Alabama.
WAAY 31 reports that police have captured Grady Wayne Wilkes, 29, accused of fatally shooting an officer in Auburn on Sunday.
Auburn University Campus Safety reportedly announced the capture in a Twitter post on Monday morning.
“Police report the suspect in the off-campus shooting is in custody,” the message reads. “ALL CLEAR.”

The university safety department has previously warned on Twitter that Wilkes was considered “armed and dangerous” and may have been wearing camouflage clothing with a helmet and body armor.
The suspect is accused of killing one officer and injuring two others, according to KKTV. WAAY 31 reports that the officer was killed after responding to a domestic call at the suspect’s residence.
